Kyla graduated from the 3000-hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster, BC in 2011. In addition to her RMT training, she has also completed a three-week full-time course in therapeutic Thai massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2014.
Her approach to treatment is influenced by current research as well as a desire to empower patients to play an active role in their own recovery process. In order to address each patient’s specific needs, an individual treatment plan is made and the techniques and depth of pressure used are modified accordingly. She is experienced in treating a wide array of conditions, including overuse and repetitive strain injuries, postural imbalances, chronic pain disorders, and TMJ dysfunction.
Kyla grew up in Vancouver and moved to Winnipeg in 2014. She enjoys practicing yoga in her spare time, as well as any activity where she can be outdoors in nature.
